Boycott Sports Cafe

It looks like the previous owner duped Arrington and the rest of us.  He was suppose to sale the bar to LaVar only to not show up to the closing!  Looks like he was just trying to steal some free pub.  Here is an article in todays collegian.  I know the guy didn't pay his old employees but to jerk off LaVar too is insane!

Ut oh

Looks like LaVar is going to have to drag him back in the alley and put the beatdown on him.

$2 Amber Bocks!

Does this mean no alcohol at all this weekend at the Sports Cafe? It says the status of the liquor license is still in limbo and alcohol cannot be served until it’s approved.

Where else will I go for my $2 23oz Amber Bocks?

I bleed Blue and White.

Um...

They haven’t been serving anything for like 9 months now, at least.

John Madden told me 90% of the game was half-mental...

Love It

I Love the Sports Cafe, and Lavar was my favorite player since I am a PSU and Redskins Die Hard. I cant believe it fell through, but when I went there consistantly (1999-04) the owner was always sitting at the end of the bar by himself like a drunken bumb. He looked like the kind of person the would screw someone over. Lavar should end hid career like he ended Troy Aikmans!!!

Weird...

I was ready for Linebacker U Sports Cafe. This is the closest place to go from my apartment, but I won’t be going if its run by a scumbag.

Boycott these clowns who are jerking Lavar around.

They are trying to get a free ride on his coattails or else hold him up for more money…

We don’t want “Sports Cafe”. We want “Linebacker U”

I used to work there...

That’s funny that place has had so many owners I think LaVar would be huge improvement!
I graduated in 2006 and it was the place you COULD go on game day that wasn’t too crowded. It really lost its luster over the years.
I also worked there one summer – very briefly. Employees would steal money from the register if they worked during the day because they knew the manager didn’t count the drawer until the end of the day. I worked the closing shift and after the MOD counted the drawer at the end of the night I always had to pay them money whenever the drawer was short!
After a couple times of being out more than what I earned for the day needless to say I quit…
