all around because i hate both of them. i voted for pitt because i have a “deep down in my gut, make me curse out an old lady” hatred for shittsburgh. my hatred for michigan is a “they’re a bunch of a-holes and we can’t beat them” hatred

The problem with Michigans Loss

Pitts loss is nothing but entertaining, while Michigans loss hurts Penn State and the Big Ten. Even though most people who watch the conference closely know that Michigan was going to be somewhere in the range of horrendously bad to mildly mediocre, they were still ranked, and a ranked team losing to a non-BCS team hurts the perception of the Big Ten. Yet another reason why we should do away with preseason polls. All that said, I was still rooting for the Utes…

Agreed except

I wanted Michigan (and other Big-10 teams facing worthy teams) to win simply to help the Big-10 and make PSU victories all that much sweeter. PSU will rock Michigan’s world this year but how much gradification (or more importantly how will it help PSU ranking) if we beat a sorry team(s)?

I'm worried about the beer supply. After this case, and the other case, there's only one case left- Barney Gumble

I have to go with Pitt

Because at least we don’t have a 93 year losing streak against Pitt. It doesn’t make me feel better to see teams like Minnesota, Iowa, Appy State and Utah beating Michigan with the knowledge that we crap the bed against them every time.
