Carr To Coach Syracuse?

Rumors that Carr was seen walking around some of the athletic buildings...absolutely nothing to go on here except that no one can really think of any reason for Carr to be there.

This would make next years game with the Orange very interesting.

With how poor his health was (apparently), I am highly skeptical that he is a candidate to replace Robinson. Is it possible that there is some sort of familial connection? Or perhaps they brought him in as some sort of consultant in the search for G-Rob’s replacement.

Coaching at Syracuse is beneath Lloyd Carr. I hope these rumors prove to be false.

I don’t know that anyone really thought Carr was the candidate, it’s just that there was no reason for him to be there. I’m hearing now that Carr may be working as a kind of “agent” for the Ball State coach.
