Thank you PSU fans

You have all been very cordial and gracious helping us OSU fans out on this upcoming trip. I know that when we went to LSU a couple years back they weren't so nice. Anyways, I think I speak for all of us when I say that we're looking forward to this trip and can't wait to see some good football. Hopefully the weather doesn't affect things too much and we can see a game on even terms.

Our plan is to be nice until you get here, then dump yuengling all over you!

Just kidding, I hope those who make it have a great trip.

I don't know, Mello Yello is pretty awful. What's the worst that could happen?

You are Welcome.

Enjoy your time in Central Pennsylvania.

PS-Everyone loves Beavers, so how could we be mean to you?

Everyone is hoping for a South Carolina- Oregon State matchup

Could you imagine the sexual innuendos? I imagine no announcer would wanna touch that game for fear of being fired like this guy probably will be

I’m thinking PSU-South Carolina is more appropriate… All those ’Cocks in the Beaver!

You are welcome...

and as yet another token of good sportsmanship, we will be ‘sitting out’ a few players this week, you know, just to be nice… ;)

everyone coming in, psu and oregon state fans, have a safe trip and bring good weather with you!!

Oregon State University

Is not Ohio State University

by CDRS on Sep 5, 2008 8:45 AM EDT   0 recs

Hope you enjoy your experience...

… in State College and University Park. Most of our fans should be very good-natured and welcoming. It’s a late kickoff, but not a night game, so hopefully the students won’t be as “lubricated” as they were for the Michigan and Ohio State matchups of the previous two years. Regardless, and speaking for myself, I go out of my way to approach people like yourself and welcome them to my alma mater.

Enjoy your weekend and best of luck to you!

Just keep it in the back of your mind though...

that if you get too mouthy, or happen to beat us in our own house – there will probably be a few urine bombs laying in wait.

Right “Best Damn Urine Covered Band in the Land”. Just kidding of course.

Just remember

That our team hasn’t been winning for years and years, it’s only been since 2000. So while we obviously have mouthy fans, generally we save it for Washington and Oregon (their fans are pompous ass holes, if you ever play them, I ENCOURAGE you to urine bomb the shit out of them. Will probably be the first time UO fans showered all month….) But in all honesty, we are good natured people so I encourage you to invite a Beaver fan or two over for a beer and a brat and you’ll have some good conversation

God I love this time of the year

Go Beavs

As much animosity as there is

projected between Ducks and Beavers there seems to be a lot of love b/w the two lately on Building the Damn.

Are the Ducks still holdin a grudge against PSU for the 94 Rose Bowl exposure of the Gang Green D?

When was the last time a Pitt fan was here patting our backs or firing us up for a big OOC game?

by rahpsu92 on Sep 5, 2008 2:41 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Don't know why

It’s the weirdest thing. UO fans hate us. But they will root for us anytime we’re not playing them. We hate UO. And for the most part, will never, EVER root for them in ANYTHING. It’s an odd rivalry.
And even more than that, maybe I speak for myself, but I hate hate HATE that they root for us.

2 things I remember about the PAC 10.

The 24-7 drubbing of USC in the Kickoff Classic?? in 1996 and the ’95 Rose Bowl when Kijana Carter took the first handoff for a long TD against the Ducks. All we heard before the kickoff was that damn quack, quack crap. It was a great time and I believe the final score beat the spread.

Most of the Ore State posters on this site have been great

I feel like I’m gonna miss you after the game’s over.
Thanks for your insights on your team – I didn’t really know much about them before. Now I finally feel like I have a West Coast team I can root for – esp. against USC!

I hope you enjoy Happy Valley as much as we do.
