I do agree with the last point you made in the article regarding younger fans wanting Joe out because they don't understand the history. All PSU students should take a class on what Paterno has done for the football program and the university.

four years

I always find this interesting and I don’t think enough people talk about the fact that coaches are never guaranteed to be there the four years you are going to play. If I was a top recruit and I was good enough, why would it matter so much. If I can play, I can play, and a new coach shouldn’t affect me. Besides…how about utah and urban meyer, or notre dame and willingham…..or the miami dolphins and nick saban….they thought their coach would be there for them and they weren’t
