Kersey changes commitment to Penn State

Kersey chooses PSU over Rutgers

Some of you may have already seen this but I didn't see anything posted yet.  Nice size with a 4.45 forty and apparently has very quick and can cut on a dime.  He's also 6' 2" which is a very nice size for a WR.  Hopefully we'll also get Brown's commitment this weekend and then I'll be feeling a lot better about our WR situation for the next few years.  This is a good get on paper and I hope it works out on the field too.  We've got a very good QB this year in Clark and we've already got a top QB in waiting (Newsome) so I'm sure WRs are starting to realize that they can do great things at PSU over the coming years.

Welcome aboard Mr. Kersey!

I've seen this too

Word on the blogs is that Brown and Urschel should commit this weekend too — but this seemed a bit of a surprise.

This is one hell of a class if we pull all these kids in, there are a ton of athletes.

Not more Rutgers leftovers!

…kidding. Agree with millzners, this class is looking very good on paper.

I smell

another sarcastic “we’re-still-losing-recruits-to-Rutgers” post coming.

Nice pickup

Though there are grumblings that Kersey has yet to post a qualifying SAT score. If that’s the case he may be headed to prep school like Daryll Clark and Curtis Enis did.

Maybe

But wasn’t the word that his offer would be contingent on a good score. Maybe he brought his GPA up? Who knows.

Or

He said he was willing to go to prep school for a year. I dunno.

I think we're pretty good with WRs in this class

Kersey must be the 5th or 6th so far.
Would still love to get Brown, too.

Quantity over Quality...

….we NEED Brown. We got quantity at the WR position, but we NEED Brown for the Quality* portion.

*According to the always accurate Star ranking systems.

WE ARE.......PENN STATE!

Never hurts to overload a position

Look at our D-Line from this past year, had we not been overloaded, we would’ve been royally boned with Evans and Koroma out.

And nobody would ever transfer out of PSU on account of a lack of playing time…. right? (insert sarcasm here)

Agree...

What are the chances that we end up with 7 Kinta Palmers?
