McShay trashes Williams a little bit, but in all honesty what he says is probably correct. However, him dropping punts is nothing new.

I saw it as well
And his arguments seem legit. 3 punts dropped is not a way to impress scouts, and I’m sure he’ll clear up the route running.
Hope it was just first day jitters
though he’s always been a bit of a liability with dropping the punts.
Also, that RB they were talking about with the small hands (which are still probably giant compared to mine)…I dunno why I started cracking up at that. I wonder if he also smells like cabbage.
Looks like it was jitters
Apparently D-Will had a heck of a second day.
The update at SI.com has him as the best receiver there
Oh shocker
ESPN reports a PSU player is struggling, while an outside less-biased source says he’s the best there!
Luring recruits with my new "Posting HD" scheme since '08.
“Derrick Williams/WR/Penn State: Williams’ vaunted athleticism was on display as he established himself as the best receiver on the field. Williams displayed speed, effective route-running skills and reliable hands. He beat defenders for the deep reception or physically beat them down to make the underneath reception. There’s no doubt scouts were excited by Williams, who showed signs of pulling it all together.”
Way to go, DWill!

Sporting News Today said this:
He looked very smooth and fluid in and out of cuts and breaks. He caught the ball very cleanly as a receiver, but still struggled fielding punts.

They said something similar yesterday, too.
Born and raised in the shadow of Mount Nittany
Obviously it was the "sunlight and the wind"
doesn’t McShit know that State College is a dark, stale environment 24/7?
Once DWheels overcomes being a vampire and can adjust to sunlight, he’s gonna tear shit up!

Mostly Accurate
For a guy with Williams’ natural ability, he never turned into the consistent big play threat you’d expect. Butler and Norwood were more dependable as receivers and I think Williams doesn’t have the greatest hands. Great player, but in comparison to someone like Percy Harvin he wasn’t really on that level.
But this is the NFL we’re talking about. Number one most important thing is athleticism. Advantage D-Will. Number two is character. Williams gas always been a solid leader and works his butt off.
Harvin
can’t stay healthy…thats not going to magically stop once he gets to the NFL.
Doesn’t that video make it look like McShay is in a bunker somewhere? I guess Kiper made him go to the corner.
PSU Softball
wasn't it McShay
who all year was talking about our “average” offensive line? The guy obviously knows what he’s talking about. I mean I guess we did only have one second team All American, 3 first team all Big-10, and 1 second team all Big-10. Man they sucked.
