Browsing the Fox sports webpage NHL section I stumbled across something looking like a Lady Icer Jersey and was stunned. Looks like Derrick Williams has some competition this week.
On Saturday, Miss Virginia Tara Wheeler will be competing with 49 other women in the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas. But don't let the make-up and formal dresses fool you. As a former Penn State women's goalie who plays pick-up hockey on occasion, Wheeler can hold her own against the guys. As she prepared for the pageant, Wheeler talked to FOXSports.com about her shootouts to raise money for charity and what she's learned from hockey that will help her compete for the Miss America crown.
