Norwood To Perform In ESPN Skills Competition
Jan. 25, 2009
El Paso, TX — Penn State senior wide receiver/return man Jordan Norwood will arrive late for this year’s Texas vs. the Nation All-Star Challenge as he was selected to participate in ESPN’s College Skills Competition.
Norwood has flown down to Florida to tape the event on Monday morning and than will fly out to El Paso, Texas in time to arrive for his first practice on Tuesday.
The staff of the Texas vs. the Nation All-Star Challenge is excited for one of our own to receive this prestigious honor and wish him the best of luck.

What's the connection?
Is there really any Texas connection for Norwood beyond the fact that his dad now coaches at a school there?

At least his parents have their primary
residence in TX. I thought Sergeant was from California.

Pittsburgh area, actually...
by way of California.
I guess that since both California and Texas used to be part of Mexico, whoever set this thing up thinks they must be the same.

Missing Class Time?
Don’t all these post-season festivities take time away from class. I hear all about how DWill tore up the senior bowl practice last week (good for him!). Isn’t this the same class time that is too precious to miss for a playoff?
Onward to the Rose Bowl...Again!!!!!
Trapped in the SF Bay area.....nothing like kickoff at 9 am.
