Where in the world are Joe Paterno's glasses?
Well, it looks like rascals have once again stolen the glasses from the 900-pound bronze Joe Paterno statue outside Beaver Stadium.
If I remember correctly this also happened a few years ago. Shouldn't it be harder to steal oversize bronze glasses? This is why we can't have nice things.
What would you do with 20-pound bronze glasses?

i'd weld them back onto the damn statue
seriously, those things come off?
it’s state college, if it’s not nailed down and wrapped in barb wire, don’t expect it to be there in the morning.

And all this time....
….I thought my cojones were in my wife’s purse. Damn, does anyone have some nails and barbed wire?

Dirty Ohio State, they sent a rogue agent to try to get some knowledge from the statue
But all he did was steal the glasses, and quite frankly he thinks they look pretty good:

Ah!
So, that’s the problem. Pryor couldn’t throw the ball downfield to save his life because he needed glasses.

i read this
and might I add that i love the time frame that it could’ve been stolen, 11 am friday and 11 am saturday…really? 24 hours? those 2.5s have something better to do. they could’ve at least lied and given us a 6 hour time frame, make us think they’re doing something with our money. the glasses thing has been done before, but the timeframe makes the article.
For the glory

It's ironic
As if these showed up on ebay or something; absolutely no one would know where they are from!
When I worked as a park ranger (many, many, years ago) people would steal signs from the park. Of course, no one could possibly know where they came from, even though the park name was on the signs!
I know its just a prank and if you steal something, at least, be smart about it. Don’t people think about these things before they do this? (Please be aware that I am being sarcastic; in no way do I advocate committing a crime)
Lastly, shouldn’t these be attached somehow? I’m surprised that they aren’t.

"An Amber Alert has been issued."
Well, there’s the problem. “Amber” is a much lighter color than bronze.
Hopefully, the perps will park illegally somewhere in the borough. That will almost assure that they would be caught in a timely fashion.
