College Pick 'Em Final Standings

Congratulations to our bowl game pick 'em winner, inappropriately named Eye Never Wynn. I guess next year he'll have to change his name to Eye One Wontz.

He's lucky I don't disqualify him for picking against the Nittany Lions in the Rose Bowl. With a confidence rating of 21(!) no less. How dare you, sir. You are a disgrace to this blog and an embarassment to its patrons. Hell shall have a special place for you.

But even if I take away the 21 points he still wins by five. So you win this time, evildoer. Please email me at blackshoediaries (at) gmail (dot) com to claim your prize.

Thanks to everyone for playing. And congratulations to everyone else who finished in the top five. Well done. We'll do another contest for the NCAA basketball tournament so watch for that.

I went in with the PSU win for 34. I don’t regret it.

Me either

I picked PSU at 34 in every one I did, including one at work I paid $25 to get into. I’ll always back the boys, and if the ship sinks I’ll sink with it.

Thanks for hosting. I let my three year-old pick one of the entry sheets and it brought me a small amount of joy on a dark day (Jan 1st) to see that he was in first place. He ended up in 14th but he would have had a shot at the top 5 but I made him pick Penn State.

I always read sagarin’s bit about how his “Predictor” score is the best statistical somethingorother about who will win a given match up. I filled out my ballot based on that, and turns out he did pretty good!

Stupid Confidence Points

I went 23-11 (tied for the best overall record in the group, I believe) but still finished 9th. I should have had more confidence in Tulsa beating Ball St. What was I thinking??
