Two best lines:
Bradley: “Boy, he looked good for the first 50.”
Odrick: “I told him if he gets tired, toss the ball back to me. I’ll take it the last 20 yds.”
He really did look pretty fast at first, lol
but he was lucky he didn’t get caught, EIU was gaining on him. But that was one of my favorite moments of the day.
well,
AJ Wallace was running half assed and still blew by the EIU guy. He would have gotten a block if Navorro needed it.

Yeah, that part actually was my favorite part of the play
Wallace, looked like he was out for a stroll. He could have ran to the endzone and back, blocked 4 guys and ran back to the endzone before Navorro.
Black Shoes. Basic Blues. No Name. All Game.
"Everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the mouth."
I just watched the replay video of the run-back
They were a lot farther ahead of the “defenders” than I remembered.
Random question...
are linebackers expected to be that fast and be able to run that hard for so long (hey-yo!)?
Because I was worried he might be running hurt for the last 30.
No
LBs are supposed to have a fast burst, either to plug holes, hit the QB, or work sideline to sideline but that’s about it. The ball carrier ought to be in front of and coming at the LB most of the time.
