If you have never heard of sporkle its a website that has tons of quizes about almost any topic. Great way to waste time at the computer. Here is a PSU quiz about the dorms at UP: Name all the dorms at PSU main campus

I didn't realize fan posts needed seventy five words to be created so I am trying to just add extra words to hit the limit. Needed a few more

Don’t they add like 6 new dorms every week anyway? I swear every time I head back there some new building is going up in East/Pollock/South.

I think the last dorms to be built (not counting renovations) was the Eastview Terrace (if you actually want to count those isolation rooms “dorms”).

what about the west campus grad housing?

no clue when it was built…but they are fricking nice…and not really dorms, more like dorm-ish apartments

I'd consider them more like apartments

but like I said, Eastview might be essentially the same thing, except that it’s only one person per room, so I don’t know what the last “real” dorm made would be. Was Atherton always there, and they remodeled it for the honors college, or is it relatively new?

what about the north halls that were renovated and turned into suites?

they actually CUT occupancy…then charged like double the rate

lol, I could only name all of the west halls dorms

and a few of from south and one east hall dorm. North halls might as well be in Russia, unless you lived there, you probably wouldn’t even know it existed. You can barely see any of the dorms from Curtin Rd, and I’ve eaten at the take-out place there once with a friend of mine and his girlfriend (who lived there), and that’s the only time I’ve ever been inside. I have absolutely no idea of the names unless I cheated and looked it up, which I didn’t.

I was joking that class size continues to increase, yet there hasn’t been an increase in on campus housing (although with good reason: there’s no more room to build a dorm that would be “on campus”), only the super expensive suites, or the fortresses of solitude that are the Eastview Terrace rooms.
