Where's the schooner?
I don’t see it this week.

Damnit
I was hoping the format would be screwed up so we could mock you.
DO YOU HAVE PRIDE, DANNY?

I thought Hodges was LB
Good God these things are worthless.

Justin Brown belongs at the 4th PR
I mean, where would you put the only guy to get a decent PR this year? And don’t even THINK about putting him in the WR depth chart, especially not above The Amazing Disappearing Brackett.

Don't get carried away...
The PR WAS on EIU.
At WR, however, I agree – the kid showed he could catch, and he’s pretty big. Get him reps so we can use him next year against Bama.

Also showed
He could block downfield. Gonna be much-needed against Coleman and Chimdi. Jack Ham was raving about this last week.

Do you have something against Patrick Mauti???
Come on

yea I agree with psume
Plus it’s not really a straight up 4 in line to get a PR. Royster will be back there for the 1st punt and Astorino will be the DFC’er for any short punts. I bet Brown will get a shot sometime when we stop Minn deep in their own territory and the return game sets up well. Unless it really is wet and snowy. Then expect a steady dose of DFC’ers.
As for WR, you’re guess is as good as mine. Maybe we are missing something in practice.

I think "DFC'er" needs to stick as a term around here.

Is that what Zug is too?
I don’t recall him being back there for any punts, granted I usually watch specials teams with my hands to my face and through my fingers.
If that’s the case, then I think we need a leveling system for DFC’ers. Royster is DFC’er grade 1 (allowed to take off on a run), Zug is DFC’er grade 2 (allowed to return but advised by coaching staff that any mistakes will not be tolerated) and Astorino is DFC’er grade 3 (if you even as much think of about talking off for a return, you will be benched for insubordination). Any muffed punts and you automatically increase in level.

If you opt for the fair catch free kick that has been
done once in the last forty years, does the punt returner have to kick it or can you bring in the kicker? Perhaps Royster is the best kicker. Please note this post is a) ridiculous b) pointless and c) I’m not certain that this rule exists outside the NFL

Dimensions
Sean Stanley = Bani Gbadyu? Weird.
On a separate note: Jordan Hill! Yeah. Watched that guy closely in the 3rd Q Saturday, and have to say I really dig his style. Tree trunks for thighs and he gets down low. It was also nice to read that LJ’s lobbying on his behalf got him in there finally, and his performance jumped him ahead of Chima. I’m really looking forward to nice things from him the rest of this season.
