Again, it’s an awesome story, but there are people who have been attending football games (as employees of the university) since the 70’s and don’t remember hearing the chant until the 80’s at the earliest. Something tells me that it wasn’t some sort of “underground movement” for 30 years…

A friend here at Marquette
is a ND fan (originally from Indiana, so it’s somewhat understandable) and her parents are at the game. And they’re stuck behind the USC band. The only thing worse would be getting stuck behind the F$U band.
