"He’s just going to have to show it," Graham said on a teleconference Tuesday. "We’re going to come. They better come hard, cause we’re coming. I just don’t think they really know. How much preparation and how much we’ve been waiting for this game since last year. If he feels pretty confident, they better prepare. That’s all I have to say."

They just can't give it up can they?
Penn State hasn’t won at Michigan Stadium since 1996, but Nittany Lions tailback Evan Royster expects that streak to end Saturday.
Stupid Ohio State and their domination of Michigan. We’re all they have now.
We really need to punch these people in the mouth.

Howeva
Does Royster really need to be saying this stuff?

Yes.
Absolutely. Someone needs to be speaking and saying that the team is confident. We as fans are allowed to be nervous, and so are the players. But I want to hear that the players also have some confidence. I hate when players predict victory, especially if they then lose. But I love when someone, especially a team leader like Royster, who apparently used to play lacrosse, voices some confidence.

Pfft
If he was really that good, he would have gotten a scholarship offer from Johns Hopkins.

a lacrosse rally could be fun
"For me the game wasn’t grounded in reality. It was about the uniform you put on that turned you into a warrior. It was about the mythology of the battle, the victory, the defeat, the struggle." - Mike Reid, PSU '69
So
what is the over/under as to how many times the announcers mention lacrosse this weekend?
Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

Normally, without Musburger, it wouldn't be that high
But Millen is a chump for that kind of stuff. And so is Mike Patrick.

During last week's game
I told some people I’d puke if I heard one more thing about Royster playing lacrosse. And 5 minutes later…….
Ugh
After reading that quote, I feel like I need a shower.
My mind is in the gutter today.

Graham is delusional
We were never going to lose last year. If Threet hadn’t gotten hurt, it may have been closer, but the offense was starting to roll. He’s bitter, and not in a good way.

It's sad
They’re looking for revenge. Too bad they didn’t have that fearsome preparation before their game with MSU. I mean, it’s not like MSU won in Ann Arbor by two scores last year.

Isn't it funny
It used to seem like Michigan players and bloggers never got up for the PSU game no matter how much we kicked and screamed about how bad we hated Michigan. To them, beating PSU was like beating Purdue or Illinois. Just show up and do it.
My, how the tables have turned.

Black Shoe Diaries
I never got that.
Why would you turn the tables? Wouldn’t all of your stuff be at your end of the table? If I put my drink down and maybe my cell phone, then get comfy with my elbows up and stuff, why would I want to go and turn the table? Next you’re gonna tell me to go drive on the parkway? Hogwash.

Overblown
“I think we feel like we’re the better team and we can go out there and still beat them” —Royster
What a benign statement. How can that possibly constitute locker room bulletin board material? I appreciate Graham wanting to respond, but come on. This is a non-story… manufactured by the media for our consumption.
Further
It’s not like Brandon Graham’s response was totally over the top. To the extent this is trash talk, it’s pretty well mannered trash talk.
Beat Michigan.
