Is it too quiet?
This is Michigan week right? I am unsettled by the quiet. Or is it just me?
Defensively our speed should be able to contain the UM offense, but Forcier is talented throwing on the run and that scares me. Offensively I don't know what the hell to think. We should be able to move the ball, but who knows what happens on the road.

I'm not worried...
Any time we go into a game with the far superior defense, I like our chances.
Plus although our offense is not as high powered as we all hope, it is solid and capable of putting up 24+ points against a subpar scUM defense.

I don't think it's been that quiet
There was a post about Forcier yesterday, but there’s not usually any preview posts until Wednesday.
And there’s been several fanshots and fanposts on this topic.
As for the media, it’s not “hype worthy” enough for them.

What he said^
Usually we spend Monday and Tuesday recapping the action from the weekend. Wednesday we start easing into it and try to crescendo on Friday.
Tomorrow we’ll have a Q&A with a Michigan blogger if he gets his answers to me tonight. Then on Friday we’ll have our previews. And we’ll probably work a few other things in here and there.

exactly, no hype
PSU has basically (for whatever reason) been written off for this season (omgz bad schedule!!), and people seem to already be bailing off of tater tots metaphorical sinking titanic.
maybe meatchicken will use this as bulletin board material too…it’s about as much of stretch as that royster quote.
We decide when you hear the snap count...

I don't that quiet is the word
I think that by and large it’s been more serious than the last two weeks.
We got business this week.

Time
to handle our binness.

not complaining about content
I’m suggesting that there isn’t the usual banter that I would expect before a big game. As stated above, I’m willing to accept that it could be my personal perspective.

I am unsettled too
and I’ve been checking BSD like a strung out dope fiend smokes cigarettes.
I don’t think its the quiet, though, its just the anticipation for the game. I’m pretty sure there’s no cure for this except for a perfectly executed trap where Royster gets threw the hole, makes one guy miss, and then is in the end zone before you know it.
I wouldn't trust old rooster me neither.

I was looking at the MaizenBrew JoePa post
And scrolled down and saw another post with the lyrics to that damn fight song. It got in my head so I had to start doing zombie nation to get it out.

On a Michigan highway, dead deer everywhere
Warm smell of arrogance, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night
There he stood in the doorway;
I heard RichRod yelling
And I was thinking to myself,
this could be heaven or this could be hell
Then he lit up a candle and he showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor,
I thought I heard them say…
Ann Arbor really is a whore
Such an ugly place
Such a beaten face
Plenty of room at this filthy brothel
Any time of year, 5 dolla make you holla
