Tate is trying too hard to make something big happen instead of just taking what the defense gives him. hit the open man underneath or on the sideline, and when they come up to defend that then hit them in the middle for a big play. Thats pretty much all PSU’s done today.

I had the same feeling as last years Wisky game
Thought we had a chance, but was expecting a hard fought game. Glad to see it was quite different. I’m just surprised the best QB in the Big 10 didn’t play all that well. I mean, ZOMGZ TATE FORCIERZZZZZZZ F off Millen.

it was exactly how I was for Wiscy last year: terrified out of my mind, and then total domination. Couldn’t have asked for a better turnout. They didn’t go overly conservative, and it paid off tremendously.

Was it just me, or did Tennessee turtle leading up to the blocked FG? There was about :50 left, then they ran once to get inside the hash, then spiked the ball. Ultra-conservative settling for a 40+ yard FG when your kicker was struggling already. I’d utilize the clock to go for 10+ more yards if I could get it. You don’t need a low blockable trajectory on a 30 yard kick . . . .

They seemed content with the long FG attempt. They had more than enough time to try to at least get closer, if not try for a game-winning TD
