This is killing them and it's delicious
We're talking about a school that fancies itself as the "Harvard of the Midwest", They really, really think highly of themselves. But with being pwned by a rival, to resorting to whatever this was yet still losing middling bowl games, to HAAAAA, to embarassing coaching searches, they've lost some of that luster.
But the one thing they could hang their winged helmet on was the fact that they could brush a program of our caliber aside as if we were Minnesota or Purdue. They could look down their noses and still hold onto some of that arrogance. They could belittle us and mock us and make fun of our white receivers and use our cheers against us (we own penn state) and Mike Hart could run his mouth and it made them feel really, really good. We couldn't say a damn thing to them, and it seemed like it would never end. That changed the last two years. And it's so clearly killing them. They are even blaming the refs. What else can they hang on to? Maybe we'll see some humility from them? Doubt it. But I don't care.
And, no this isn't some "enjoy it while you can because Michigan will be back" kind of thing. We'll lose to Michigan again. But we'll also beat them again. And they finally have to acknowledge that. It feels damn good too.

It's simple
they thought they were going to win. They’ll never admit it, but it’s a fact.
They saw last year coming, but they had some hope that they still had the “we own Penn State” mojo. They they got crushed. In many ways it was worse than last year.
It was a harsh wake up call. From what I’ve seen they are not taking it well. Whatever.
Beat Northwestern.

Yeah, I officially don't care about this edition of Michigan football anymore
I am now more concerned with their basketball team.

what a weekend
Wolverines and Vikings crushed. Two proud fanbases reduced to bleating cries about bad calls and terrible soul searching. I can’t wait to enjoy the schadenfreude from these links.
Did I mentioned that I hate Michigan and relish in their sadness and misfortune? 10/23/2010 Wolverines, that’s your next chance…

Ahahaha
They blame the refs. Really. We’re talking about a 25 point differential. Questionable calls mean nothing when the difference between the teams is that great. Even with a momentum-swinging bad call, no decent team folds to the tune of a 35-10 score. That’s like blaming the PSU loss in the Rose Bowl on Maybin being called offside. That didn’t help, but PSU got owned for a full quarter, badly. If you can’t keep things close when you lose momentum (see Iowa circa 2009 for an example of how to keep it close), that sits on your shoulders.
Let’s face it. Michigan will never admit to other teams being better than they are. Or themselves being mediocre. Any loss is because they didn’t execute. This was true even in Woody Hayes’ time. He knew Michigan is a bandwagon delusional state filled with snakes. That why he said this: “We do not pull in and fill up. And I’ll tell you why we don’t. It’s becuase I don’t buy one [goshdarn] drop of gas in the state of Michigan. We’ll coast and push this car to the Ohio line before I give this state a nickel of my money.”

All in Michigan rally towel?
I usually don’t like picking on a fanbase for “copying” something from a different fanbase, but that “rally towel” from an ad on their site looks kinda familiar. I’ve seen yellow towels at football games somewhere before…

It’s helping a charity, but it’s a Michigan charity, so it sucks.

I thought Northwestern was the "Harvard of the midwest"
Seriously. Oh well.
