Pardon me, Sir
Must say I've enjoyed this blog for well over a year now, good work. However, I've yet to understand what is the word 'pwnage' Yeah, I laugh when I see it and I think I know the general context. But I'd like the official explanationa and a little history wouldn't hurt either.
Dear god I need more wordage, I love my mother and bunnies. My nickname in college was 'the natural'- broad athletic ability in many sportages, thank you. Is that enough?

pwn
See the link Junny put up.
I believe the o is replaced with a p to mock the idiots on the internet who type faster than they think and hit the p button instead of the o button. It’s the same reason why sometimes you will see the intentional type “teh” as in “The Buckeyes are teh suck!”

How fitting
There are two typos in my response.

For example of usage of pwn in a sentence:
BSD Mike just pwned himself.

I've read it about 5 times and I can only find one typo.

I think the second typo is actually a result of the first typo
he said “the intentional” but meant “them intentionally”. “the” probably threw off his brain for a second, making him forget to add the “ally”

I thought it also had origins in Asian based, English language gaming of the 1980's
Sort of how “All your base are belong to us” came into being.

As your wiki link notes
it’s really more from gamers (wiki notes CounterStrike, I’ve always given a nod to the Warcraft series). Some of the typos are due to fast fingers, others were due to fat fingers – all them are now running jokes.
Included in the list is the intentional usage of a ‘1’ in the midst of a line of exclamation points, as in, “You are teh suck”
All Your Base really set off the idea of creating videos of strange foreign songs, with various products/pictures depicting the words.

This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."

that's one of the downfalls of the autoformatting on here
we lose the beauty of exclamation marks and 1’s intermingling, and instead it always thinks we want to post image named 111oneone1one111

I think it originally came from
someone in an online game misspelling “own”.
It means the same thing (ie: “He got owned/domainted”) except to a higher degree.
According to PurePwnage.com, it is still pronounced “ownage”.

Custom WarCraft 2 map
If you’ve played the map, you’re an official citizen of the Internet. Wikipedia is great but Urban Dictionary on the whole tends to be more accurate about slang words, for obvious sourcing reasons.

Careful what you search for though as many definitions are NSFW.
