JoeBa was at the Penguins game last night and got to schmooze with some top name people within the Pens organization. More importantly, he was able to sit and chat with NHL commissioner Gary Bettman and it sounds like Bettman is “genuinely interested” in getting a Winter Classic game in Beaver Stadium.

I would love love LOVE to see/go to an NHL match at Beaver Stadium. But where is everyone going to park? >50% of the attendees park on grass and that isn’t going to work in the winter.

I'm kinda impressed with the offense
because we’ve had pretty bad starting position the entire day. They’ve had to go about 80 yards for every score.

I think he thought that Illinois would do something different coming in. We played our DB’s back to take away the vertical passing attack but opened the perimeter to small running gains. They’ve come up and taken everything away in the second half.
