Tailgate viewing suggestions
Hey guys I don't have tickets to the Ohio State game, but I'm still tailgating. I want to run a tv at my tailgate to watch the game. I do not want to go a generator route, so I was looking for any tried and true methods for powering a tv. I am going to be powering a 22" or 32" tv and did not know if my van battery w/inverter could support that kind of load for a the whole game plus the early games. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Find a friend with an RV
Tried several inverters and couldn’t find one that could handle a tv for that long….plus you have a running van all day…

An inverter will work
We ran one at the Iowa game, started around noon, started the car a couple of times to charge up the battery, no big deal.

Are you using a satellite or just an antenna? I’m wondering if I just bring a TV with an antenna if I’ll be able to pick up the HD ABC signal out at the overnight RV lots.
