Worse than reviewing a clear TD and overruling the TD call on the field?
when it was clear to everyone that he was in? I’d say those calls are pretty close in dickishness by the refs, but overturning a clear TD seems worse to me.
It wasn't a "clear" TD
They said his knee may have grazed his sideline. Debateable, but these Big 12 refs have had two absolutley horseshit unjustifiable calls.

and if you didn’t come away seeing THE worst officiating on calls that would have altered, if not flat out changed the end of the game, then this Iowa thing you’ve got now has really pulled the curtain over your eyes.

Well two scores wasn't really good enough to beat the refs was it?
And yes, calls plural. I saw the replay of the “unnecessary roughness” call (which btw, they never bothered to call “helmet to helmet” it was just plain roughness with no further explaination), the guy lead with his shoulder, helmets never touched. I know you’ve argued this before, but on a 3rd down on a strong Indiana drive, they were given a HORRIBLE spot, only to have it reviewed, and go figure, the idiot on the sideline “got it right” when it was clear, including to the guys in the booth that it was clearly a first down. Then, and I don’t remember which of the receivers it was for Iowa, “caught” a pass, which he never had possession of, and what do ya know, not reviewed (and if it was it wasn’t overturned) even though he didn’t have possession.

a) What are you talking about? Apparently, we saw different replays because, yes, IU’s guy’s helmet did make contact.
b) Who cares? Iowa was offsides.
c) I remember this “catch” you were talking about. It was on an Iowa drive that ended with either a punt or a Stanzi pick. Before Iowa took the lead.
The refs did not give Iowa the game. Indiana collapsed.

forward progress had stopped, therefore the refs blew the whistle and then he fumbled the ball (once the officials blow the play dead, it becomes un-reviewable).

The rest of us all saw it. I called my dad at home, and we talked for 20 minutes about what an absolute travesty that game was thanks to the officials, and how they threw the game for the hawkeyes. If those guys aren’t fired on Monday, then Delany needs to be removed from his position.

We have no idea which of the other questionable calls mentioned above would have affected the outcome of the game, if at all. The point was, the refs, CLEARLY and INARGUABLY were making calls in favor of Iowa.

You have no idea if Indiana would have collapsed with an increased lead! Sure, Iowa might have come back, but it would have been an even deeper hole to dig themselves out of, which increases the chances Iowa gets beaten in Kinnick.

There was exactly one call that might have mattered
That was the questionable overturn of a TD right before the honked FG. The other TD that was overturned … even if it was wrong (which it probably wasn’t), Indiana scored on the next play. The spot on third and inches that was left short? Even if that was wrong (which it definitely wasn’t), Indiana got an offsides call on 4th down that gave them the first.
Man, I could really go for some SEC football.
