Bad news, we lost another set. Good news, with the win over Ohio State today, Penn State Women's Volleyball breaks the record for consecutive Big Ten matches won by winning their 50th straight Big Ten match. EAT IT late 1990's Penn State. You only won 49 straight Big Ten matches. Losers. Clearly you're not made of the same stuff as the late 2000's Penn State volleyball teams. Clearly I'm only insulting you to meet this stupid 75 word minimum. No link yet since it JUST happened. In fact, I wrote this before it happened. That is all.

These girls are fan-friggin-tastic.
I took a vball class my senior year in Rec Hall (former varsity vball player = easy credits right? wrong, if the class starts at 10 am). Anyway, one day I get to class early (go figure) and the girls vball team was finishing practice. This was before the super domination of today, but they were still really good. Now I’m 6’5" and have been known to put a ball or two down (reigning Pittsburgh Sports League Indoor VBall Champ), but what these girls were doing scared me to death. When your middle and outside hitters have to DUCK when going up for a block, you know it’s a good team. And when their spikes are hitting inside the 10 foot line on the reg, you know it’s a good team. Russ Rose, Cael Sanderson, JoePa…what’s next?

I really want/need 1.5 credits in kinesiology
and really want to take a actually phys ed class like volleyball or racquetball, but they fill up so Zugging fast it’s ridiculous.

I can't remember exactly what the announcement was
and maybe I’m getting this mixed up, but at the Illinois game they announced that they were gonna have free admission to some upcoming volleyball game where they were going to try to set some attendance record.
I laughed at their petty attempt, and felt content with 2 NCs in a row, including going nearly the entire season without losing a set (curse you semi-finals!!!!)

stupid Nebraska
the game before they almost lost to Washington. If Washington could have pulled it out we would have been playing Washington @ Nebraska instead of Nebraska @ Nebraska, and without the above mentioned ungodly attendance, probably wouldn’t have lost those two sets. The crowd was a factor in that match.
