It's Coughlin's attempt to motivate his team

They brought 14 others in. I hope it works out.

I hope it does motivate the G-Men

As a Giants fan, they need a good kick in the butt!!!

Obligatory "this should be a fanshot" comment

"Every player we have, someone—maybe a parent, a grandparent, someone—poured their life and soul into that young man. They are handing that young man off to us. They are giving us their treasure, and it's our job to make sure we give them back that young man intact and ready to face the world." - Joe Paterno

Not to pile on

Somebodies post gets bumped everytime a new post goes up. You should really try to add something to the post before knocking somebody else off the front page. Most FanPosts only get a day or two as it is.

FWIW, we all need to do a better job of reading the fanshots though, because the reason people do this, is so somebody will read the post. If the fanshots saw more discussion, I think we’d see less of this.

Not that this is any of my business whatsoever.

Beat Indiana, I guess.

if they would just merge the two together...

also (though this wouldn’t apply to the average person who just scans every few days), you can increase the number of fanshots/fanposts that get displayed

I like the gripe you had in the "New BSD Format" post

I do read all the fan shots, but it’d be so much easier for most if they had them appear on the side under the Fanposts all the time, instead of just when you’re on the front page.

Recently though, I’ve started to just go on the front page and open all of the main articles/fanshots/fanposts that have new comments in new tabs. It makes it a lot easier, and kind of eliminates the previously mentioned problem with fanshots only being on the front page.

by PSUisMyHeart on Nov 12, 2009 1:52 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

that's basically what I do as well

just have to remember to refresh the main page occasionally.

I go to Fanshots once every 2 - 3 weeks

and I click on BSD at least 2 – 3 times a day.

SBN needs to reformat it, definitely.

My name is Dan, and I'm a BSDoholic

I only do it once per day. But that’s because I wake up, take a shower, get dressed, go on BSD, leave it up while I’m out/doing other crap, periodically checking in for new comments, and stay on it until it’s time to sleep.

by PSUisMyHeart on Nov 12, 2009 7:36 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

You know what else they should do?

Make the new comments message for fanshots black, like they are on the fanposts. It’s just easier to see!

Not that this is any of my business whatsoever.

It’s your living room too, isn’t it?

I suppose

But I am neither the moderator, nor the boss of anybody. I don’t want anybody to get the impression that I am trying to tell other people what they can and cannot post.

The San Francisco Giants?

He probably has a better shot of making a baseball team at this point

and yeah I wish him the best, Penn State proud and all, but he really wasnt that good

I know a lot more than they know. I'm going to do what I believe is in the kid's best interest. That's what this whole thing is about.-Joe Paterno

Have you seen the Giants secondary as of late?

Probably

because their ankles is about where McNabb will throw it.

Giants

I would be willing to give them Sukay for a practice ball or a used jock-strap or hell they can just have him, we’ll be better playing a man down.

Sukay isn't that bad

Astorino has been playing worse lately.

Sukay

Missed block on punt in Iowa game
Mis-played ball allowing Deckers only catch of game
Slow as hell reacting to OSU route leading to 2nd td (yes I know the cb also messed up, but Sukay should have been there)

Yep, he’s playing awesome….

I'm only convinced on 1 of those 3

Not that I’m going to sit here and say that Sukay has been tehawesomest safety evar!!!! But he’s been serviceable, if flawed.

You cite two plays out of an entire season

The missed block? He shouldn’t have been on Adrian effing Clayborn in the first place. That was on the coaches.

I never said he’s been playing awesome. But he’s been average. I’ll take it.

Yeah, that's a fullback's job, not a safety's.
