MMM FREAKING BOP
11/13/09
Penn State Nittany Lions - 70
Pennsylvania Fighting Franklins - 55
That was the official song for a PSU basketball victory.
This was Fugi's idea.
Don't like it? Neither do I.
I wanted to go with this:
But I'm a reasonable fellow.
You have so many relationships in this life [here's to you, Rick Pitino.]
Only one or two will last [but Cornley will always smash.]
You go through all this pain and strife [hit some damned free throws.]
Then you turn your back and they're gone so fast [Hanson are Memphis fans?]
And they're gone so fast [Why do singers repeat statements?]
So hold on to the ones who really care [Meth. Whiskey. Bacon.]
In the end they'll be the only ones there [Truly.]
When you get old and start losing your hair [hahaha joepoop hahaha]
Can you tell me who will still care? [Curley.]
Can you tell me who will still care? [Block O Nation.]
Glorious!
What victory looks like:
UPDATE: My suggestion for a loss song.
What failure looks like:
Why, you ask? Here's a comment from that vid's page on Youtube:
that guitarist isnt just plucking the guitar strings but also my heart strings =)

God Created the World Out Of Nothing, Paterno Built A National Superpower On Cow Fields...
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
If we go to the NCAA tournament, I’m petitioning for Hanson to play in the kickoff show (is there a kickoff show).
For the record
I think this is brilliant.
+1
HAHAHAHAHA

I think Hanson was one of the first CDs I ever bought
As I recall, MMMbop was a mindless pop song, but the rest of the album was pretty good.
I refuse to believe this

If you're a man
You’ve obviously been castrated, there’s no other explaination, otherwise, hand over your man card, you’ve lost your privileges.

Is that you, in the video...
wearing the flowered jumper in the third row?
These are the only Hanson Brothers I ever want to see again.
We'll make some arrangements
Pregame show – “Moskau Moskau” by Genghis Khan or whoever

That Genghis Khan song by Genghis Khan was AWESOME
Did anyone else find it weird that the only time the German language doesn’t sound angry is when they’re singing disco?

If I ever hear the Blue Band/Pep Band
play MMMBop, I’ll be completely convinced that BSD has more sway in the athletic program than they’d ever let on.

Were you trying to assemble the worst bands of all time?
I kind of missed how you and Fugi came up with these things and for what purpose.
And for the record, Creed blows.

Not at all, it was a good night for me, went to see the v-ball team kick ass
then grabbed a loop and caught the last half of the bball game.
Just not sure where these band song selections came from, and I freaking hate creed.

I’m still wondering if the “What failure looks like” was a statement and a slam all rolled into one.

Correction Scott Stapp blows
Mark Tremonti does write some good riffs.
So I have a couple of drinks and turn in early
and the next thing I see is that we’re listening to Hanson? Every single one of you should get banned.
Beat Indiana, I guess.

Once again, no TV coverage.

You might as well drive/teleport from whereever you are and go to the game
It will probably be in better quality in person.
haha, hmmmm
15 hours roundtrip. I was just looking online and we have some decent televised games it looks like.

Who's next, Radish?
In ten years a skynet-linked Rambler will be posting Jonas Brothers fanboy posts on BSD. And none of us will be able to do anything but listen and watch attentively.
One man doing the work of 100's for the good of 1000's
I guess a grassroots effort
has to start somewhere, why not Fugi, a Droyd and Springstein.
I hear the Nelson twins need some love nowadays too.
One man doing the work of 100's for the good of 1000's
If we lose this weekend, I'll consider posting Jonas Brothers lyrics
