To be fair

Drake is 6 inches shorter and about 10x faster than any receiver Clark has had to throw to normally this season.

Just his style.

Looks so in control even when it isn’t a good run. Appears to be running as fast as he gets the handoff as he does 30 yards down field.

the two best players have been the two guys who might leave early for the draft?

Not a good idea for him to jump

RBs are easy to get. He needs to put up much better numbers to get a good pick

There's not a player on this team that should leave early

Bowman is a 4th rounder at best and Royster is a 6th rounder at best

by jesse. on Nov 14, 2009 2:29 PM EST up reply actions

Bowman will go earlier than that.

Don’t think he’s a first rounder, but i can see him as early as the second

by smashtheguitar on Nov 14, 2009 2:29 PM EST up reply actions

That doesn't matter as much as what the pool looks like

If there’s only a few good LB’s in the draft and a few teams need one to run their 3-4 defense, you’ll get picked up earlier.

by smashtheguitar on Nov 14, 2009 2:33 PM EST up reply actions

Depends on what the scouts see

It’s very possible they see him as a 2nd round pick. We might disagree (much like we disagreed with King going early), but we aren’t the one’s making those decisions.

Royster might get a boost because of the number of teams that like RB depth. Royster might go earlier (4th-5th round) just because a team wants a RB and he’s next on the list.
