I actually

would like to see them raise prices and have less home games in order to get a better schedule.

I get so sick of hearing this:

“The bottom line is, right now, everyone around the country is looking at ways to create new revenue sources,”

How ‘bout controlling spending? I guess that’s un-American.

It’ll be interesting to see attendance next year. It’ll be a rebuilding year, the economy will still be down, and there’s a real possibility of an early beatdown at Alabama and a home schedule that might not have any top 25 teams.

Spending

I’m under the impression that the biggest increase in spending for the AD is the rising cost of tuition for the University — which causes large increases in the cost of the athletic scholarships that the athletic department funds. I don’t think there is much that the atheltic department can do to control that cost besides eliminate sports (and the athletes and their scholarships that would go along with that).

It's fine.

It’s a new story about the increase. And it’s a fanshot, it’ll be off the FP before you know it.
