Rivalries
What fascinates me is that 1% of respondents considered PSU their rival. Just about everyone considers OSU a rival… From our perspective, OSU is our biggest rival at 89%. OSU picked us at 1%…

Interesting thoughts
of all the other teams in the conference, more Iowa fans picked us as their top rival than any other school—5%. I would love to play them every year, and maybe replace MSU as the final game of the year. They’re a team that seems to have our number, but we play close games, and I really like their fans.
NittanyWhiteOut.com. Arguably the second best Penn State blog I know of.

will never happen
They play Minnesota every year for the last game and they chose them as their rival – Why Would they give that up?
It is a shame that we don’t have a natural rival in the Big Ten – since we haven’t belonged long enough. Maybe if/when it expands it will play out better
How could Nixon know so little about Watergate and so much about football ?

Iowa/Wisconsin/Minnesota
They all play each other, and it’s locked in the way. Can’t/Won’t happen.
This rivalry three way is the second most intense in the league, behind only PSU and MSU.

To quote the guy from The Daily Gopher:
Who hates Iowa? We. We hate Iowa.
His apathetic voice really sold it.
UNACCEPTABLE!

Plus they have a "sweet" solid bronze pig statue that they get as a trophy
We WISH we had a bronze pig trophy, they’ll never give that up. Actually, I’d settle for a pig trophy made out of balled up aluminum foil.

Our rudeness factor seemed kinda high
till i saw that almost all the votes were by Buckeye fans. So I guess we’re really polite to other fans unless they come from Pittsburgh or Columbus.

I think too many OSU fans believe
what they read about urine bombs and trash hurled at their team during their “gauntlet” entry into Beaver Stadium.
I spoke to numerous OSU fans prior to our game this year and all were having a great unprovoked time.

I still refuse to believe that claim
making a urine “bomb” would require planning (having balloons on you that you would have to fill up which would also cause a freaking mess). I call BS on that whole story, and say we got framed. After the ND game in 2007, Mike linked to a ND fan post from somewhere that had quotes from the uppity Domers saying we were classless, rude, and I seem to remember them saying we threw urine on them (honestly they probably deserved it, but I still doubt its true).
Unless someone has video, picture, or firsthand knowledge (i.e. you pissed in a balloon and tossed it at tOSU players and fans) of this happening, I will continue to think we got framed by a bunch of whiny Bucknuts who were sad they got beat in 2005.
