I understand your point about
your long rang guys having confidence and taking open threes. Generally, I don’t like deep threes early in shot clocks. Why take a shot with 25 seconds left in the shot clock when you can get the same shot 15 seconds later? Also, I would rather have the guy stepping into the shot. Babb didn’t do that on the three that sparked my comment.

I hate to lose to UNCW but in all honestly 2-1 is still on schedule, just without the RPI boost we’d been hoping for. We ran into a hot-shooting mid-major today and had a rough shooting day at the same time. It happens.

I didn't do PSU a lot of good last year.
The schedule is slightly better, but not that much better. Considering this team isn’t as good, PSU needed this game.

Then ya, we’ll look back at either one as one they should have had, but saying this loss is going to keep us out of the tournament is probably overstating things a little.
I was expecting 2-1, and 4-1 overall leaving Charleston. That’s not bad at all. Nittany Nation is going to be at the Temple game, and we have VA Tech at home. If we take care of business the rest of this weekend and bring it in those games we’re in really good shape.
