The Bacon Explosion

As last week was my last home game as a student, I figured I should go big or go home. So when I had to step up my tailgate a notch, what do I do?......Add more bacon of course!!! I figured everyone here would enjoy this. Check out the pictures below:

And after 2.5 hours in the over at 225 degrees and 15 minutes on the grill........ The Bacon Explosion

It actually turned out really really well. Weaving the bacon tight is the most time consuming part of the process.

I used 2 and half pounds of thick-cut applewood bacon, 1lb Jimmy Dean's Maple sausage, 1 lb Jimmy Dean's spicy sausage, some McCormiks bbq rub, and Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce.
