it was a lie so the fan base would accept them. It was just a nike stunt. Oklahoma wore the same unis today, just replace the gray with white. It was to show off Nikes new pro-combat uniform cut. VT, miami, TCU Fla st etc also wore them

Overall..
I like the kid, he is a tremendous athlete. However, he has had so much hype, it’s just sick.
I think he has done an OK job, after all they won the Big Ten, but they have so many athletes on that team. I think I could have QB’d it and done OK

Probably a little
It would tighten the gap between the Iowa and Penn State a bit, but I don’t think it would be significant. Then again, I’m not completely sure how some of the statistical rankings like Sagarin and Wolfe will react. At this point, any bump in those polls will be a huge boost for Penn State’s BCS standings.
Ultimately, I think the gap will shrink, but not enough to jump Iowa.
