How many conferances have 3 teams with at least 10 win?
Big Ten is only conference with Ohio State, Penn State, and Iowa all with 10 wins so far.
So sounds like an up year for the Big Ten overall.

When the Big Ten starts winning bowl games, then we can say it’s an up year. That’s not my opinion, because my opinion doesn’t matter. That’s the perception of the national media and fan base, which does very much matter in CFB.
Plus, if the top five win their bowl games, that’ll equal three teams with 11 wins, one with 10, and another with 9. THAT will be an up year.

I wouldn't try to pump up the Big 10 just yet.
It’s been a down year for the Big 10. Different polls have us 5 out of the top 6 conferences…behind the Big East!
Mike above is right, if the Big 10 can take care of some business in the bowl games this year (we haven’t done this the past few years) then maybe you can claim we are on an upturn. Right now those teams with ten wins have beaten mainly other conference teams and some “cupcakes”. Iowa’s win over Arizona may be the best win of the year for the conference.

What's the sixth conference?
I have a hard time believing we’re worse than the Big 12 when Okie State would lose to us, Iowa, and Wisconsin. And Northwestern would give them a run for their money.

It's probably the ACC based on the terrible OOC showing they had.
I’m fairly certain they have the worst winning percentage of all BCS conferences thanks to the Atlantic Division. Agreed on the Big 12 being worse than us too though.
