Ask the man in the snazzy orange blazer
Interesting interview with the Orange Bowl Committee.
Patronizing interview to the home town press, are we bowling in Miami or is it agonizing fear of a horse head in his bed alla the Joepather?

The Orange Bowl would be interesting
I’d like to see how we’d face up against Georgia Tech. Of course there’s that and the fact that I don’t want to go to the Fiesta and play a freaking mid-major in a lose-lose situation.
We'd spank Georgia Tech
The triple option is confusing, unless you have an 80 year old coach that literally invented how to stop it more than 30 years ago. It takes a disciplined defense that tackles well, and has good linebackers. Sound like any team you know?
You give Penn State a month to prepare for Georgia Tech, they’d be lucky to score ten points.
Land Grant or bust! Worst 10-2 team ever? Beat Michigan State.

We need, um, Matt Millen

That works too
I’ve heard Shane Conlan did well against OU in 85

I’ve heard Shane Conlan did well against OU in 85 everyone.
"Every player we have, someone-maybe a parent, a grandparent, someone-poured their soul into that young man. They are handing that young man off to us. They are giving us their treasure, and it's our job to make sure we give them back that young man intact and ready to face the world."

Very true, but Maryland, Pitt, and WVU didn't run the wishbone

Ga Tech
Yeah, Georgia Tech is a tough matchup if you only have a week to prepare and get ready for their distinct offense. But given a month to prepare with our defensive front 7? No problem IMHO (and Ga Tech doesn’t have a particularly notable defense). Of any team that we might potentially play, they present the most favorable matchup for us — they’ll be highly ranked but are eminently beatable. Granted, you never know and that’s why we play, but I’d feel better playing them than Ole Miss or LSU and certainly TCU.
Yeah looking at their schedule, they clearly have a suspect defense
they gave up way too many points to mediocre teams.
You're on fiyah!
With uncanny powers of persuasion. (/said with a heavy dose lament at feeding that Ego). But, seriously. Before I read that, i was like: oh my, Ga Tech, boy can they run. And after reading it, I was like, bring em on.
