I said to the wife
when they didn’t call that TO till 9 seconds left that “even Mike McQueary would call that bad time management!”

I heard this on the radio
The difference in bowl game revenue that this loss created amounts to something like 10 million dollars. His puckering at the end of that game lost LSU 10 million dollars in revenue. Wow.
"We hugged as grown men do. It was a great moment. Then, it was business as usual." -- LJ Sr.
that is blatent horsesh*t !!!!!!
They are saying it cost them a BCS bid but each conference is limited to 2 teams in the BCS and Florida and Bama have that locked up, so all it cost them was their (LSU’s) share of the difference between Capital One and Outback bowl revenue, which is less than $1 mil.

PS, I did hear
that on both Colin Cowherd and ESPN College Gameday Final but it is pure BS.

Where LSU dropped the ball was two years ago.
Michigan was ready to drive a mack truck full of money up to this guys house, and pay LSU the buy out. The guy lost two games with what was generally considered the most talented team in college football then fell ass backwards into an Ohio State team that had no business playing for the national title.
What they should have done was taken the Michigan buy-out and hired Tommy Tuberville away from Auburn.
I say let's rock the Orange Bowl, because nobody will remember in five years anyway.
Bill Martin f'd that up
His plan was to get Miles, and so he told LSU what his plan was. So genius. Match made in heaven.

It doesn't matter if you "won't remember them" years from now because we'll probably all be dead years from now.

And this isn't even the first time Miles has lost to Houston Freaking Nutt when he had the superior team
