He’s been impressive as hell. Also impressive from 2009 freshman: Stephon Morris.

2010 may be the banner year for recruiting, but 2009 is an extremely under-rated class.

is under-rated, per se. I think we all knew we had a lot of talent coming in with that class and were excited for what they can bring. It just so happens that they’re getting lost amongst the new/shiny 2010 model of recruits.

2009 was ranked in the top 25 classes by both Rivals and Scout

Rivals had us at #24, and scout at #11. I’d say that’s hardly (barely) underrated. If we’re able to break into the top 25 with Rivals, we’ve got a good class.

Add him to the list of Newsome, Little Red, Bolden, Jones, McGregor, (and from the PSU roster list of people you’ve never heard of) Steven Hill, John Kelly, and Garrett Venuto.
