Me meh too.
When pressed for what led to his decision, Floyd shrugged his shoulders. When asked about what those schools had that Penn State was lacking, he paused — and then said he wasn’t sure.

With well thought out, in-depth answers like this one, I see a bright future for Floyd in either the housekeeping or food service industries.

On the other hand, we may just be too country.

To sum up: meh. Squared.

Not entirely surprising

I was happy to hear this explanation instead of trashing us:

“I just don’t see myself there,” Floyd said.
That’s really all I ask of a recruit when they look at us. Personally, if I was a DT of his caliber, I’d be crazy not to go to PSU and play for LJ Sr. and Joe, but then again, I have been coming to PSU at least once a year since I was born. You have the Redd’s and Fortt’s of the recruiting class, who are absolutely blown away by us when they visit and from the minute they step on campus, start to bleed blue and white, and then some that aren’t as impressed. Good luck to him, wherever he goes (..cough….Florida….cough…).

Honestly, if this had happened 6 months ago, I probably would have been like, "OMG END OF THE WORLD SKY IS FALLING FIRE JAY JOE IS OUT OF TOUCH NO COMMAS But we have a truly monster, kick-ass class without him, and with younger guys stepping up at DT like Still and Hill (a freshman btw), plus with a few other highly touted DTs looking at us, this isn’t a devastating loss. Would have been nice, but just based on the snippets of updates about him, I could feel we were getting pushed to the end of the line.

Meh. Best of luck to him, this won’t even be a bump in the road for our 2010 class.

Excellent!

Let’s go into Rivals mode:

“Not Penn State material! Joe knows this kid is f-d up mentally. Have fun with AK-47s at Florida!”

"I don't know. I don't know. [waves hand dismissively] First, you'd have to tell me what a 'BCS' is. I don't know."

I think we may be losing Coxson, too...

doesn’t look too good according to his Fbook page.

Another meh.

Coxson looks nasty, don’t get me wrong. But anytime a player starts cooling on PSU for one reason or another, I say let the kid make the decision. We have a stable of talented wideouts, running backs, and quarterbacks coming in (or already in). Give me 2 years and I’ll give you a phenomenal offense.

Yeah, the way Drake and Brown and even Day-Von looked this year

I’m not worried about losing Coxson. We also have R/Ss Brandon Felder and Shawney Kersey who were supposed to be good. And lest we forget, Mr. Kuntz.

WR isn’t a position of dire need. You always hate to lose a talent like Coxson, but it isn’t a disaster by any means. Go out and get a nice WR next class.
