I’m sure that the scene unfolded exactly like that. NO doubt. Seriously though, someone needs to tell him that he goes to Northwestern, not Harvard. No one outside of Chicago is all that impressed.

disrespecting our university, and then laughing about it and calling it the ‘haymaker?" we make fun of scUM for thinking they’re the harvard of the midwest…sounds like NU isn’t much better.

I'm mostly confused about what the first 2 punches landed by NU were.

Just the other NU fans telling the girl off? The spitting on the ground in disgust? If so, wouldn’t the ripping up of PF’s face on a stick been a punch landed by PSU? I mean if we’re going to overexaggerate this fight of the century, shouldn’t we at least keep accurate count?

And seriously, the girl is disgusting for spitting on the guy, but do people actually spit on the ground in “disgust”? My assumption would be that he just had to spit, but apparently in disgust? WTF? Stay classy sober NU fans.

Who actually spits on the ground (actually I’m thinking it would have been on the bleachers) as a display of disgust? Why didn’t he just remove his glove and throw them at her feet?

He should have said

At least that’s what I’d imagine a pretentious d-bag like that would say. If you want a quiet afternoon, watch the game on TV. He acts like being rowdy at a game is atypical. The crazed atmosphere is what make college football great. Go to a baseball game if you want to sit politely.

I can't believe this...

…I was actually walking out of the same exit/tunnel/endzone area the EXACT moment this happened.

I was so flustered and simpy couldn’t believe what i was seeing that I didn’t comprehend it all in time.

anyway, my initial reaction was like….who the hell is trash talking at Northwestern? Then when someone yelled “she just spit on my firend!” and I saw two girls run to the exit, I was like…“dude, come on…stay classy PSU”

anyway, it was all very bizarre and it happened pretty quickly…we all wish crap like this doesn’t happen, but it does…everywhere. I have no idea if the girls were provoked, but there’s no place for spitting on someone.

one more thing….I think the write up by the NW fan in the link above was a bit tongue in cheek. I think he was sarcastically saying Pat Fitzgerald is some sort of revered legend.
