Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

I feel like this should be commended or something. Almost makes us sound really good. I'm scared.

i still don't get the claims that clark often stares down recievers.

you think he’d have a couple more picks in the last 5 games other than just 1?

i make this claim after having looked at no game film…soo…yeah

I did notice...

Earlier this year, (I think it was during the Syracuse game) there was a play where Clark was staring down a receiver who was about five yards deep and the defense keyed in on it. The problem for them was that as Clark was staring down the first guy, he proceeded to throw the ball to another receiver who was another five yards further down the field.

I was really happy that Clark was our QB that day.

I almost think that comment is a product of

Penn State qb’s traditionally staring down receivers, not Clark’s actual play. When I say “traditionally” here, I mean “traditionally”, not recently.

And by recently

you mean really recently… Not just kinda recently, which would include 2006 and 2007.

Yeah

The only big flaw I have personally noticed (no expert here) is that he tends to overthrow the ball high, or “sail” as it is known. I haven’t noticed that as much this year though, at least without analyzing each game.

I dunno about the staring down of wideouts though. Unless he has and just hasn’t been caught doing it a lot yet.
