You know what this means
They’ll lose to OSU. I guarantee it.

I'm not joking
They are FAR more likely to lose to jNW than to lose to OSU.

But jNW AND tOSU would be marvelous
Assuming, knock on wood, we win against tOSU this weekend.

I disagree
I don’t want Ohio State fans to have the pleasure of knocking off a top 10 team.

Like that's going to matter all that much
Hopefully by next weekend, they’ll be a 3-loss team. And a 3-loss BIG TEN team no less. If it means we win an outright Big Ten championship, what does it matter? They’ll be ranked in the 20s, whoop de freaking doo. If it means they don’t get “another” Big Ten championship, who cares if they beat Iowa? Let them try to justify their insignificance by beating a top ten team (and we all know it won’t be Pryor putting the points on the board in that game). The voters already know Iowa is inconsistent and probably not consistent enough to be a top ten team, as evidenced by the lack of respect in the human vs. computer polls. You know as well as I do that the voters are DYING to find a reason to get Iowa out of the top ten, but they can’t so long as they’re undefeated. In all honesty, without an metric assload of luck, they would have lost to someone already. I’m not going to deny they have a great defense, but their offense is a complete liability as we saw last week, and multiple times this season.
Who else could beat them? Minnesota? That would be nice, but I don’t see it happening.
I’m not trying to knock Iowa too much (anyone who has seen them play knows Stanzi isn’t the best there is) because they are a good team, defensively at least, but if it helps PSU, no matter how the Bucknuts want to try to spin beating a top ten team (who may only be a top ten team thanks to their defense bailing them out multiple times), what does it really matter?
The tOSU trolls can try to come here and say “nah, nah, we beat Iowa two years in a row, and you didn’t, naaahhhhh! (sticking their tongues out like the 5-year olds the majority of them are)”, and we can smile and mock them for saying something that stupid when we’ve beaten them twice in a row and three times in the past 5 years, and just say, “SCOREBOARD, BITCHES!”.

Who else can beat them? Why anyone of course!
and Iowa can beat anyone too! We’ve seen what happens when they don’t get get up for a game (UNI, Arkansas State, MSU, Indiana (even though it ended up being a large win)) and what happens when they do (PSU, Iowa State).
I don’t think Minny stands much of a chance because Iowa hates Minny. They’ll be prepared for that game. They probably hate aOSU as well but there is a significantly better chance of aOSU taking it, since they’re a better team and it’s a big game, but I don’t think it happens. They don’t hate jNW right? (not too sure who Iowa considers rivals, but I don’t think jNW is one of them). I also think that’s the best chance of a loss, followed by aOSU. And until they go undefeated in the regular season, I of course, hope they lose. After that I’ll switch over.

By the way, and this might be the tipping point for Iowa vs. jNW
Is Kafka alright, or is he out? That might make the difference.

Last report says Kafka's in
"In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."

That was weird
Kafka was never injured in that game, but Persa played most of it. Maybe jNW was just bullshitting

Come on Rambler..
You’re still a good guy right? PSU’s still #1 in your heart right? Isn’t an outright championship for your FAVORITE team worth more than one for your second favorite team, even if it means HATE HATE HATE has another excuse to be idiots?

I wasn't trying to imply anything about how much you care
Sorry if you took it that way. Everyone knows you do, you wouldn’t be here if you didn’t. I was really just asking if that’s how you really feel, and wondering why. Wasn’t implying that feeling that way means you care less. Even though the original discussion is moot with our loss today.

But Iowa won't be top 10
after they lose to NW.
Not saying they will, just hoping for Iowa to drop two for the good of ol’ PSU.

I sure hope so
As long as they lose one of those games, and their bowl game, I’ll be happy. You have no idea what it’s like to hate Iowa until you’ve had to live in this flippin’ state.

Yes
What this conference really needs is for the champion to lose again in the BCS.

No, all ill-will towards B10 "rivals" (I guess we could remove the quotes from that word now)
and wishing for them to lose ends after the regular season. You may continue to hate, but you have to suck up and stab hope they win their bowls. Think of it this way, in the past four years, as Ohio State has singlehandedly destoyed the reputation of the conference in two failed MNC games, we’ve held up our end by winning 75% of our bowls. They owe us to return the favor of repairing the image of the conference (especially tOSU).

I've never met an Iowa fan IRL
And it’s a fact that SBN produces better fans. So most of the Iowa fans I’ve conversed with have been generally “nice guys”.
