there goes the upset

There's plenty of time
and plenty of Stanziballs left to go.
But I do think Northwestern is going to get lit up this game. Their offense is far too one-dimensional to move against Iowa.

Syracuse 3-0 over Pitt
"Wherever you go, Penn State will go with you. You are now a part of her. Her image will be cast in your image. Your reputation will become her reputation."
That would be a great upset. Would help our SOS.
Oh, and Pitt would lose. That’d be cool

Is that one on BTN?
Me thinks I’ll have to actually find the overflow channels now that Time Warner decided to switch things on me…

In all seriousness, I don't see how that is a catch for UM.
It seems more than a little ridiculous.

looked like the right call to me.
Defender needs to have possession all the way to the ground. He didn’t, and as long as the ball never hits the ground if the offensive player gets it the pass is complete.
by PSUinBOSSton on Nov 7, 2009 12:16 PM EST up reply actions
Didn't he have his back on the ground with two hands around the ball?

Somehow, possession rules have changed since I was a kid
It used to be you hit the ground, you had the ball, its a catch. Now I see people catch balls, hit the ground, roll over, ball pops out after like 3 seconds of holding it, no catch.

I didn't think the defender ever had possession.
Roundtree and the defender each had an arm around the ball.

Defender had two hands on the ball...
Receiver had one hand in there…that’s it.
by NoLimitLion1 on Nov 7, 2009 12:20 PM EST up reply actions
The each had one arm around it firmly,
and another hand over it. Didn’t look to me like either player had full possession until the Purdue player let it go.
by PSUinBOSSton on Nov 7, 2009 12:22 PM EST up reply actions
Seriously...
Purdue had possession of the ball with his back on the ground. That’s a catch and an INT.

MINOR RAGE.
Great run. Sportscenter highlight tonight.

Every game their team just looks completely confused on what the heck they are supposed to be doing.

Love how they always just come out of a commercial halfway through their own sideline reporter’s report and after we’ve somehow lost two downs of play.

Bad coaching by Ferentz
That backup QB is probably freaking out, and Ferentz just let him make a mistake that might rattle him for the rest of the game. Tressel wouldn’t have let him throw there.
Haha, Tressel would let him throw bubble screens all day.
