OK
Got some calls to go our way, but way too much turtling on the play calling. OSU blowing up a lot of plays, but those 3 half yard and a cloud of dust plays were weak.
TP isn’t doing much of anything, though, so it looks like a nail-biter down to the wire. I pity the neutral fan watching this. The defensive mistakes, which are few, aren’t being capitalized upon.
by gcdyersb on Nov 7, 2009 5:19 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
Totally disagree.
If you subtract the sack, we are averaging 3.5 yards a carry. Not world beating, but if you do that every carry they will never stop us. You know what kills drives? A sub 50% completion percentage. We have not run the ball enough. Yes, you need to pass some to open things up, but we are just getting beat in many aspects. I don’t blame the playcalling at all. Not even a tenth as much as I blame Heyward.

Another 3&out.
Stick a fork in us, we’re completely done.

Another big game choke...
this is getting frustrating. You aren’t going to win every big game, but at least show up.
Never mistake effort for achievement.

It's sad, because the punt was really pretty awesome itself

This is just a dominant performance by Ohio State, really.

They came to play against us, we didn’t.
I just want to score one more time to make it closer. And I"m going to hurl next week when OSU beats Iowa.

This team has a very fragile psyche.
I’m not sure they know how to handle adversity.

This
No offense to them but they really seem to give up. Except at NU.
Let’s get this done.

I don’t think they do. Clark is fragile and it rubs off on the rest of the team.

Let's not lay down now.
Ohio State is capitalizing on all our relative weaknesses. But we can still do this.

this game seriously blows
just blows. don’t know what the hell they’re doing out there.

It seems like we're playing to see of OSU beats themselves.
Which is great, but what if they don’t?

No turnovers yet. Still.
I’m pretty sure OSU has no turnovers only against Toledo and NM State
