Assault seems a little strong for what was described.

But his actions can easily label him as a prick. Stop acting surprised that some sophomore doesn’t immediately recognize you’re the AD. It’s nothing personal, it’s just most students don’t care who the AD is, just like you don’t care what the drink specials are at each bar on Tuesdays. How about you just wear your AD crown around the stadium, so that everyone knows you’re the big swingin’ crank?

On a positive note

If you ever want to get into the “Regents Guest Area” at Michigan Stadium, it seems suffifcent that you be wearing a Michigan Polo Shirt and profess to be the athletic director.

I've never seen it spelled this way
