Daryll Clark in Car Accident (Don't freak out, he's fine)
First, and foremost: Daryll's fine, the other guy is fine (it was his fault), and no, Daryll isn't in legal trouble.
I just saw on FOS (free stuff), Daryll Clark was in a minor car accident over the past couple days, but don't freak out, he's unharmed (and so is the other driver). The other driver apparently rolled through a stop sign and Daryll broadsided him. Daryll was driving his 1998 Chevy Lumina (I DRIVE A DODGE STRATUS CHEVY LUMINA!!! [Will Ferrell voice]), and versus the the other guy's SUV, the Lumina took the brunt of the damage. You really have to watch the video of the interview with Clark, there's some really funny moments, this is my favorite:
Reporter: He didn't have LSU plates, did he?
Clark: No, he didn't, but I would have been really been mad.
Apparently, the other guy didn't know who he was, or was either too shocked by the accident to ID Clark. I probably would have had a heart attack if I had been in that guy's shoes and recognized Clark. My heart is seriously pumping right now just thinking about that (or maybe it's just because my finals are on Monday, idk).
But everyone is OK, and while it sounds like Daryll is bummed about losing his car, he's just happy no one was hurt, as am I.
So watch the video, it's good for a couple laughs:

Do you know how many lives you saved and how any heart attacks you stopped by including “he’s fine” in title of this post?

Same
but I think I had a mini heart attack in between when I read the first part and before my brain processed the second part.

lol, I know. I'll admit, for a minute I almost thought about leaving it out on purpose to watch the chaos
But, luckily for everyone’s hearts, my inner wuss took over, and I couldn’t bring myself play such a bad joke on everyone. It would have been on the “Mike’s april fools day ‘Clark ruptures his achilles tendon’” scale of absolute heart sinking terror. Luckily I’m too nice of a guy.
worst. april fools day joke. ever.
but by that, the best. Definitely had me care for longer than usual

a 98 Chevy Lumina
and did I hear him right with 72,000 miles on it?
I just retired my 96 Accord, and that had something like 205,000 on it. Man I would have been pissed at losing a 11-12 year old car with only 72,000 on it, cuz you now the insurance won’t get you an “equal” car in that situation.
You kidding?
With the insurance money he’ll get, he could probably buy all of GM at this point.

Clark in an accident, but he's fine
Isn’t that what they first said about Tiger Woods?
Mike
Black Shoe Diaries
lol, wasn't it actually kinda the opposite
didn’t it start out that he was like in critical condition, then downgraded to “head injuries”, and eventually it turned out it was just some scratches on his face.

Yeah...
but look what has happened since

Wait - does Clark have a hot Swedish wife?

Nah, a Polish girlfriend from the Burgh
but reports indicate he had 10 girlfriends in the trunk whom he was cheating on her with. Those Luminas have tons of trunk space! ;-)

The SUV is still sitting in the parking lot.
Dropped off a Goodwill donation yesterday and noticed a messed-up SUV. Now I know how it got there.
Bacon is almost as great as being a Penn Stater
Maybe TP will loan him his vette until the Lumina is fixed
