PSU Bball Siren
Give me a siren! According to Rivals Penn State basketball has added another commitment to the class of 2011. Peter Alexis, a 6-11 center out of Holy Redeemer HS in Wilkes-Barre becomes the second player of the 2011 class with Trey Burke a PG out of Ohio. The 2011 class is really important to the development of the program with so many scholarships opening up. DeChellis got a much needed big man for the future today.

An an engineer to boot!
The rivals article mentions that Peter talked to an academic adviser at PSU to discuss the engineering program at PSU. He was very interested and this seems to have been a big factor in his decision.
I don’t know much about his basketball skills, but I’m already a fan.
