I’ve heard things here and there about LSU being one of those teams that just wins close games somehow, and that kind of scares me. Penn State has never been a team that you could consider lucky, in fact, we usually are quite unlucky. Whether it be 2005, 2008, or many of the years previous, few games stick out as games we won by luck. In fact I can count the many, many games we lost due to terrible luck.

I guess the 2008 Ohio State game could be considered lucky. To the degree that we got the fumble recovery, and were able to get a PI call the ensuing drive…

I hope the game isn’t close enough for LSU luck to play a part.
