Joe Paterno's Birthday.....

Tomorrow, December 21st, for anyone who doesn't worship Joe, it's his 83rd birthday, so i thought, for anyone reading this post tonight, maybe tomorrow they could go into work and do something to show how much of a fan you are. Tomorrow I'm wearing a white shirt, Blue and white tie, Khaki pants with one roll in them, and my black Nike's. For anyone out there who can't, just let them know that it's Joe's birthday, and he's still coaching, and sharp as a tack might i add :)

he’s not very big, but wirey and he doesn,t have a lot of speed, but he leads his team out onto the field…he’s conservative, but sometimes surprises you and he is a rock-solid proponent of DEFENSE…once in awhile he may fool you and try and show you the “on-side” kick, but mostly his yellowed index cards show you how to run the ball down your throat…just when you think that, he’ll throw at you…he likes a playoff system and is to be taken seriously when he speaks…holds interception record and still whisfully thinks about the single-wing…when he comes to work today, he won’t wear an outfit or mask.and you’ll know he’s there by the shrill of his voice…Happy BD dear JoePa, happy BD to you…centanna !!!

I made it a point

to mention in on today’s morning news. The anchor very sarcastically said, “I had NO IDEA you were a Penn State fan!”

I guess I make it pretty obvious. Oh well. Nothing like flaunting it in scUM/Wiscy territory.

In related news, it’s Samuel L. Jackson and Mike Alstott’s birthday today as well. And don’t forget Jane Fonda, LaTroy Hawkins, Royce Ring, Keifer Sutherland, Andy Dick, Ray Romano, Dave Kingman and Philip Humber.

I look for birthdays, it’s a segment we do. I pretty much only concentrated on JoePa and SLJ

In St. Louis the PSU Alumni Assoc. Chapter has...

…thrown a “Birthday Party”/Toys for Tots drive (happy hour) to honor Joe Pa! In the past we have sent cards and our chapter t-shirt to him signed by all members. This year, we had the marines stop by and celebrate with us as well.
