You wonder how he has a job
Botch after botch after botch. I forgot about half of these shows.
I liked Playmakers. But I like bad TV.
And I wish Steven A. Smith would go away. Far away. Somewhere I couldn’t hear his unintelligent blabber about nothing.
And Around the Horn has its moments, but most of the “pundits” do just enough research on each topic to sound somewhat smart to the average fan, but sound idiotic to those who know what they’re talking about.
"Have I ever told the story of when I met Miley Cyrus?"
I despise Stephen A. Smith.
Black Shoes. Basic Blues. No Name. All Game.
"Everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the mouth."
Sadly, Screamin’ A apparently got his old job back with the Inquirer, which sucks. However, he has yet to write a column and he was re-hired close to three months ago.

SAS is the worst
right up there with Plaschke and Marriotti. Good lord I hate a lot of sports writers.
"I'm colonel cool! And I'm the captain on this rocket to the stars!"
Loved this description of Around the Horn
“pointless noise pollution, the ThunderStix of sports programming”
"For me the game wasn’t grounded in reality. It was about the uniform you put on that turned you into a warrior. It was about the mythology of the battle, the victory, the defeat, the struggle." - Mike Reid, PSU '69
