Article on Bowman, Royster

“I'm just going to try and approach it like any other game and try and do my best,'' said Royster, who ran for 1,104 yards during the regular season.
“Obviously, it's something that comes up in your head throughout the season,'' Royster added, asked about leaving early for the NFL.
“I'm not anywhere close to making the decision.''
“I'm going to sit down and talk to [PSU head coach] Joe [Paterno] about everything and here what he has to say about everything,'' said Bowman, who has a young son, Navorro Jr., who is six months old.
“Hopefully, it's good and he's behind me and with me on making the right decision.
The injury possibility, along with the lure of millions of dollars, are on Bowman's mind. But he did say there was a chance he could return to State College next fall to improve his skills.
“You know, I've never been rich before, so it's always on my mind,'' said Bowman
I've decided to try not to speculate on this stuff, but let's hope Green's patience improves.

I wish Royster and Bowman the best of luck.
For me it isn’t even a tough decision, if I have my degree and a good chance to be drafted in the first or second round, I am gone.
Thankfully these are two relatively deep positions. If Royster bolts, I see a RB rotation of Green, Carter and Dukes (possibly Redd also) next year unless Green really improves before next season.
I also think Bowman can be really successful in the NFL, so long as he amps up his conditioning. I don’t think Royster’s ceiling is nearly as high, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him have a Chester Taylor-esque career, which is nothing to sneeze at. Hopefully he can avoid the PSU RB curse when he does leave.

Agreed
and I think that’s the right decision for both as well. Of course it’s not my decision to make though.

Did Bowman really misspell "hear" while speaking?
Or did Flounders mishere?

It's not even a question
Bowman is gone. And that’s fine. He’s a great PSU LB and hopefully will have a great career in the pros.
Offseason Speculum
I mean, Speculation:
Navorro: gone (6mo old Navorro, Jr. stays)
Royster: also gone.
2010 Backfield Outlook:
Stephfon Green: mostly meh, with a few non-con breakouts (not bama), demonstrating his omgB10speeeed. Encroachments on his playing time include, but are not limited to: inability to improve patience behind a struggling Pannell & Troutman, increase in end-arounds for Drake & Devon, and the consistent emergence of:
Curtis Dukes: Enter the 36 Chambers! Boom! The Dukes ftw.
