One of the great rivalries in college football. This time with a little extra something on the line.
Yup. That's right. First time in the history of the rivalry that the prize is this clear cut. They both decide their own fate.
What's great is that they really hate each other.

Honestly I can’t see any way in hell the Beavs win tonight, but I’ll sure be rooting for them. The Ducks, when they show up, can beat any team in the country. Plus I’d love to see the Buck’s D try to handle Oregon’s offense – it’d be a fascinating matchup from a technical football standpoint.

I just read through your Q on the other thread
The BCS bowls will be announced this Sunday. The idea is to get all of the final games in, allow the human polls to submit and tally their results, allow the statistical rankings to run through their necessary iterations, and come out with the final BCS standings of the season.
From there, the conference champs are locked into their respective bowls, and the top two teams are dropped into the MNC game. After that, I actually have no idea how they decide their picks. I know the order (bowl game that loses #1 team picks first, bowl game that loses #2 team picks next, then the bowls pick in order of how close they are in terms of date to the MNC). I figure they probably have all the bowl game people on a conference call of some sort and they make their selections that way. Then they hand them over to the kind people at Fox, who then reveal the bowl game match-ups to the world starting at 8pm Sunday night.

I was in the marching band in high school. Hold the jokes. We made more noise on defense than our school’s student section did (and we’re a AAAA school), and got to perform in a Steeler Parade, at Heinz for a WPIAL championship, and in Hershey for the stat title, so I think it was worthwhile.
Anyway, we were on our trip to Disneyworld my junior year. It was our 3rd day, and we were in the Magic Kingdom. We got off a ride around 12:30 and had to report for our parade at 1, so insread of getting on another ride, we started looking for Mickey Mouse because we had yet to see him.
Sure enough, as we were walking toward the castle, we saw mickey and minny (sp?) running around at the top of the ramp. Then they ran down the ramp and there was a girl with them, and we were like “Who is that”?
We walked over and realized it was Miley Cyrus. Apparantly she was having a photop with the Mouse because the riskay photos of her (and her daddah) had come out the day before and the suits were doing damage control. She took photos with the mice for about 5 minutes before running back up to the castle. About 40 people noticed the whole exchange, and me and my buddies were 10 of them.
O and she winked at me.
